My Journey to the Moon begins on Monday, 8th January 2024
The Greyton Art Walk (GAW) is an annual event celebrating art and artists. This year it’s called the Autumn Art Walk. GAW 2024 is a visual journey through Greyton’s home studios, galleries, restaurants, cafes, and open-air venues.
Greyton Autumn Art Walk 2024 will be held on the weekend of Friday, 22 March to Sunday, 24 March 2024.
This year’s theme is “To the Moon” and the artwork sent to the moon by Sue Tatham, an artist who will participate in GAW 2024, will be on display. She will also give two informal talks during this event, about her unique art piece which was sent to the moon by NASA.
“To the Moon” talks by Sue Tatham will be held at 10h00 on Friday, 22nd March and Saturday, 23rd March. The venue will be at 33 Main Road, Greyton.
Other highlights include:
- 30 other artists, including Pienaar Van Niekerk from Sandpiper Art Gallery, will showcase their work at cafes and stoeps in Greyton’s CBD.
- There will also be wine tastings at some of the participating restaurants.
- Free Entrance.
