Welcome to the Sandpiper Art Gallery

Sandpiper Art Gallery is a unique online gallery of professional portfolios belonging to a couple with visual art talent, Sue and Pienaar who have been married for over 30 years. We live on the sea’s edge of the beautiful West Coast of South Africa near Cape Town.

We, Sue Tatham and Pienaar van Niekerk, are well-established artists who are passionately involved in producing art, each in our own personal genre and technique.  We have both trained and hold honours degrees in fine art from different universities in this country, and our individual artistic accomplishments have received significant recognition.

This site is a work-in-progress and promotes our artworks and also allows you to follow our journeys and engage with our artistic endeavours.  We like to build a relationship with our online patrons here as well as on social media.
