Eagle’s Nest

Near the vulture cave, Kaggakamma, Cedarberg, Western Cape

This painting was inspired by my discovery of a rock painting in the Cederberg, Kaggakamma area. It is unique in that there are no other rock art examples of birds (of prey) in flight in Southern Africa. The “slices” around the triangle depicts landscapes in the area as well as collage created with flora and soil.
