This series was done during a time when I collaborated with the poet Louis Esterhuyzen. The text is from his anthology of poetry called Liefland. This painting was part of an exhibition I shared with Marianna Booyens titled “Woord”. One of my paintings was also used on the cover of the publication. This painting was sold to the University of the Western Cape’s art collection.
