About the Sandpiper Art Gallery
On the Beautiful West Coast of South Africa
Sandpiper Art Gallery is a unique online gallery of professional portfolios belonging to a couple with visual art talent, Sue and Pienaar who have been married for over 30 years. We live on the sea’s edge of the beautiful West Coast of South Africa near Cape Town.
We are well-established artists who are passionately involved in producing art, each in our own personal genre and technique. We have both trained and hold honours degrees in fine art from different universities in this country, and our individual artistic accomplishments have received significant recognition.

This site promotes our artworks and also allows us to follow our journeys and engage with our artistic endeavours.

- We grew up in South Africa and have spent our lives in this multi-faceted and diverse environment. The work reflects this, and at the same time addresses representational themes universal to many of us.
- Our artwork is represented in several South African corporate and private collections situated here, and also in the USA, the UK, France, and Austria, amongst others.
- Should you be visiting our area while travelling, we would be delighted to meet you in person, so please consider an individual viewing on the premises, which is very easy to arrange. This is by appointment only so that you can browse comfortably in your own time through available artworks and buy directly from our artist’s studio.
